The Craft & Design Festival at Ballymaloe returns for its fifth year of offering work by more than 100 of Ireland's best craft professionals in Ballymaloe Grainstore and The Big Shed in East Cork. The Festival takes place on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 November from 10am - 6pm. Both admission and parking are free.
A 'Living Craft' area is a new addition, where a selection of craft makers and producers will showcase their skills and offer tastings.
Christmas shoppers will be spoilt for choice among fine textiles, pottery, jewelry, wood and glass work, paper crafts, fine art, children's toys and dolls, cosmetics, confectionary, knit wear, and much more.
It's a stress-free shopping experience with a distinctive Ballymaloe twist, as browsers can pause for coffee and delicious hot food served by local 'kitchen heroes' in The Big Shed, or stroll the newly-christened kitchen garden that celebrates the 50th anniversary of Ballymaloe House.
Over five years The Craft & Design Festival at Ballymaloe has built a national reputation as the pre-eminent crafts show south of Dublin for the winter season. Ballymaloe is located 20 miles east of Cork City.
