The Corofin Trad Fest, now in it's 13th year, gives locals and visitors alike the chance to experience our unique traditional music culture in the intimate and relaxed environment of Corofin, Co. Clare.

This year, trad music stalwart's De Dannen will be among the many musical highlights, which also include Seamus Begley and Oisin MacDiarmada,The Blackie O’Connell Band, the Faherty family from Laois, Bríd Harper and Danny O’Mahony and Moher.

Visitors can tap their toes as they criss-cross over and back from Corofin's cosy pubs where all-day sessions will be taking place - for free! You will also have the chance to upskill by joining in on a range of workshops for; accordion, with Danny O'Mahoney and Colm Gannon; concertina with Jack Talty and Michelle Mulcahy; fiddle with Liam O'Connor, Bríd Harper and Oisín Mac Diarmaida; flute, Eamon Cotter and Joe Skelton; banjo with Shane Mulchrone and Alan Byrne; singing with Séamus Begley.

This year, the annual Lifetime Achievement Award goes to John Kelly of Dublin whose father, John, was a renowned fiddle and concertina player/ music historian from Rehey, West Clare. The Kelly household/shop was one of the major gathering points for traditional musicians from all corners of Ireland, and beyond.
