Pieta House, the Dublin based centre for the prevention of suicide and self-harm, is holding a comedy fundraiser for World Suicide Prevention Day on Thursday 4th September 2008.  The fundraiser kicks off in the Laughter Lounge, Dublin at 7.00pm and features some of the top Irish and international comedians, as part of the Bulmers International Comedy Festival. Among these comics is Andrew Stanley who cc-presented RTE's 'I Dare Ya' series, as well as up and coming new Irish comedian Ciaran Lawless. Also playing are Stu and Gary, Scotland's only full-time 'improv' troupe combine their unique and successful style of comedy with games, new formats and special guest performers. Finally actor and comedian Alistair Barry, much in demand as both a headline act and MC across the international circuit, will top the night off with his intelligent punchlines.
