Award-winning dance company, CoisCéim Dance Theatre, draws a simple plan this November and joins the dots of everything the company does by hosting a weeklong programme of events entitled CoisCéim CONNECTIONS, which runs this November 2nd – 9th.

With events at the National Gallery of Ireland, the Irish Film Institute, St Patrick’s College in Drumcondra, Dance Limerick and at their recently refurbished studio in Sackville Place it will be difficult to miss CoisCèim the first week of November.

CoisCéim Connections aims to show the diversity and range of the company’s activity. It kicks off at 11:30am on Saturday 02 November at the IFI with the premiere of 4 films by the Creative Steps Youth Dance group mentored by Peter Kelly.

Following on from the sell-out success of at the Dublin Dance Festival, the company will present the acclaimed MISSING by David Bolger at Dance Limerick on the 7th November (6:30pm and 8:30pm and also at St Patrick’s College in Drumcondra as part of the unique residency project between the two organisations.

To conclude the week long programme, CoisCéim will present a special site specific short work, THE ART OF PERFORMANCE by David Bolger and featuring Emma O’Kane at the National Gallery of Ireland as part of a new creative collaboration between the company and the national institution.

Special studio events including Talking Dance with David Bolger, open Evening Classes, two special showings of TAKE A LEAP… BRIDGE THE GAP by Jen Fleenor (Choreography Project 9) and TEA & DANCE for people aged 50+ in Clarendon Street complete the line-up.

From dance aficionados to complete novices there is something for everyone in this eclectic programme as CoisCéim open’s its doors for this unique celebration of dance.
