Critically celebrated entertainment group Cirque Du Soleil is to stage an arena tour of the breathtaking production Quidam throughout the UK and Ireland. In contrast to last year's sell out show Delirium which was a multimedia musical production, Quidam is classic Cirque du Soleil at its very best -usually presented under the big top setting and now for the first time ever in arenas. With more than 50 performers from 14 countries, Quidam is fêted for bringing the impossible to life. The show is a thrilling combination of gravity defying acrobats, awe-inspiring aerial acts, contortionists, rope-jumpers, a balancing duo and of course the acclaimed crazy clowns. In Quidam, the ensemble weaves a narrative of a young girl's adventures in an alternate universe into their surreal, death-defying performance. By limiting capacity to each arena, every venue will be transformed into an intimate performing space, drawing in the audience in a way more reminiscent of Cirque du Soleil's traditional grand chapiteau tent. This spellbinding masterpiece hits the Ireland for the first time with a series of exclusive shows in Belfast's Odessey Arena from March 5th to 7th and Dublin's 02 from March 31st to April 4th. Tickets go on sale from 19 September 2008 from 9am.
