The Cinemagic Dublin Film and Television Festival for Young People takes place in various locations around Dublin from April 14 - 17.

Six film and TV workshops are taking place in Filmbase for 16-25 year olds and four Irish filmswill be screened in Cineworld. Supported by Dublin City Council Arts Office, the Festival programme offers an eclectic mix of masterclasses, films, educational workshops and film reviewing panels.

Love/Hate actor Tom Vaughan-Lawlor (Nidge) launched the Festival in March saying, 'It is important to help educate young people about the roles and careers that exist in the creative industries and in doing so help nurture and develop new talent. The Cinemagic programme has a wealth of film and television related events which provide excellent opportunities for the young people of Dublin.'
