National Heritage Week: 17th - 25th August 2013

Puck Fair 400th Anniversary: 10th - 12th August 2013
Puck Fair is one of Ireland's oldest festivals, celebrating 400 years of documented evidence. Where else but in Ireland would a wild mountain goat be crowned King and reign over a town for 3 days? Moynalty Steam Threshing Festival: 11th August 2013
The 38th Annual Steam Threshing festival takes place on Sunday 11th of August 2013 in Moynalty, Kells, Co. Meath. Moynalty Steam Threshing is a community festival run by volunteers in aid of the community and many different charities. The first Threshing was held in 1976 to raise funds for the Church extension, a profit of a £1,000 was made on a wet Sunday afternoon. Read more.

The Rose of Tralee International Festival is the original Gathering since 1959, bringing thousands of people together to celebrate their Irish heritage at Rose of Tralee events around the world.
