Carrick on Shannon will be celebrating its 400th Birthday in 2013 and we are planning a year long programme of events to include sports, culture and heritage. Included is the Connaght Fleadh, Carrick Water Music and many more. Each event will be themed to celebrate the 400 years. We are inviting all Leitrim people abroad to return home during 2013 and enjoy our many events. This is a huge community effort where everyone is involved and looking forward to the year ahead.
