The Carmel Gunning Int. Summer School Festival of Irish Music and Song , which leads up to Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann, takes place once more this summer from August 4 - 8. Class and programme of events take place at this three day event.

The 15th Annual Carmel Gunning Int. Summer School Festival for 2014 will be held from 4th August to 6th August inclusive. Classes and a programme of events will take place during the three day event just before the big Fleadh in Sligo town.
Guest tutors and musicians for the summer school this year are Orlaith McAuliffe and Brogan McAuliffe from London (past pupils of the summer school), Olivia McTernan, Sligo and Joe Grady, Mayo. Orlaith and Olivia will join Carmel Gunning as tutors in tin whistle, flute, traditional singing and mixed instruments. All levels are catered for and all ages as well.
