The Burren Slow Food Festival is a three day event showcasing the best of food culture in Clare, featuring produce from local growers, producers and traders supplying local high quality foods. The festival aims to provide a true taste of Clare culture in the beautiful Burren setting. The programme is designed to be affordable, fun and informative so it, like the local food, caters for all tastes and budgets.

Events include a large indoor and outdoor farmers market with traders from around the county and country; a Gala Dinner where a local expert chef will prepare a feast from the best local and organic produce; cookery demonstrations from local and celebrity chefs; outdoor eating options that will give festival goers the chance to picnic on the best local produce, e.g. pig roast, BBQ; children's food events and demonstrations; a food camp with public discussion relating to the festival theme with an expert panel; Burren walks, wild foods, seaweed foraging and beer tasting; and special offers at local restaurants and hotels.
