Following its hugely successful, sell-out first run at the Olympia, Ross O’Carroll-Kelly’s highly acclaimed play Between Foxrock and a Hard Place will return to Dublin's Gaiety Theatre for two weeks only from April 4th until April 16th.

‘very funny ... the gags come as thick and fast as a stand-up comedy routine’ –The Irish Times

‘a light-hearted yet razor-sharp satirical look at an economically-devastated Ireland ....sharp (and funny)’ – Sunday Business Post

‘a barrel of laughs’ – Sunday Tribune

Nowhere are the effects of the global economic downturn more keenly felt than in Foxrock, where Charles and Fionnuala O'Carroll-Kelly - having agreed to divoirce - have put the family mansion up for sale at the worst possible time for the property market. On a Sunday night in April, Ross and the rest of the family gather in the neo-Georgian drawing room to discover their cut from the sale. But unbeknownst to them, the house is being watched by a ruthless gunman, intent on pulling off the tiger kidnapping of the century.

Directed by multiple Irish Times Theatre award nominee Jimmy Fay, Between Foxrock and a Hard Place is the smash-hit play that nails the Zeitgeist.

It stars Rory Nolan as Ross, Philip O'Sullivan as Charles, Susan Fitzgerald as Fionnuala and Après Match's Gary Cooke as the Gunman. TV star (RTÉ Love/Hate and Trivia) Aoibhinn McGinnity returns as femme fatale Erika, with Cork's Sarah Greene (The Guard) joining the cast as Sorcha and Ciaran O’Brien taking on the role of Ross’s criminally-minded son Ronan.
