Art in Action - the unique and very special arts and crafts festival, takes place over the May bank holiday weekend in the scenic setting of Farmleigh House and grounds in the Phoenix Park. 100 working artists will demonstrate their work and skills to the public while also holding a number of art classes for both adults and children to take part in over the course of the three day event.

Art in Action has exhibited art, classes and performances for the public to learn, inspire and enjoy over the last 17 years and annually opens its doors to 30,000 visitors.

So what's on the Art in Action programme 2014? Something for everyone, of course! Liberal arts such as drama, dance, music and storytelling will be covered; visitors can enjoy the garden party atmosphere in the beautiful grounds of Farmleigh where the ever-popular brass bands will set up shop, they can check out the performance marquee and catch one of the stimulating talks taking place throughout the festival.

That's not all; visitors can indulge in some delicious homemade (and good value!) food, try some practical classes, or simply soak up the creative atmosphere.
