Comedian, film-star, globetrotter, documentarian - Michael Palin has done it all. As part of the upcoming Dublin Writers Festival, Palin will be presenting of an evening of humour, self-deprecating wit and telling tales from his illustrious career on 25th May in Dublin's National Concert Hall. The BAFTA-winning comedian has long been considered one of the most respected and treasured stars of both the small and big screen and this will be unique opportunity to get up close and personal with the Monty Python star. Having recently penned a two-volume diary series, The Python Years and Halfway To Hollywood, both of which were outstanding reads, Palin will no doubt be regaling those lucky enough to be in attendance with all manner of insider tales from his travel series, what it was like to be in hit movies like A Fish Called Wanda and the experience of being in one of the most legendary comedy acts of the past decades.
