All My Sons was the first great success of Arthur Miller's supremely influential career and the play that launched him as one of the leading dramatists of the twentieth century. In the aftermath of World War II, two families struggle to come to terms with the brutal reality of what they have lost and gained. The confrontations that ensue lead to the uncovering of a shameful family secret. Provocative and heart-breaking, All My Sons is a compelling story of love, guilt and the corrupting power of greed. The Gate Theatre is delighted to announce that American stage and screen veteran Len Cariou will play the lead role of Joe Keller in the forthcoming production. His first appearance on an Irish stage, the Tony Award winning actor is particularly well-known for his legendary performance as the lead in the original Broadway production of Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. All My Sons runs at the Gate Theatre until June 27th, Monday to Saturday at 8pm with Saturday matinees at 3pm on selected dates. Tickets are priced from €15 to €34.
