A Taste of Mexico will be a truly unique occasion in Ireland to enjoy the variety of Mexican food and the wealth of indigenous ingredients that have resulted in one of the most exciting and well-established culinary traditions in the world. The festival will present a Chef that has been recognised as one of the leaders in the new trends of Mexican cuisine: Chef Margarita Carrillo, who has travelled the world as Executive Chef of Mexico’s Ministry of Agriculture and has also been the Mexican representative of the International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP). She is currently the owner of the prestigious restaurant Don Emiliano’s in Los Cabos, voted the best restaurant in Baja California and a member of the “Slow Food” movement.
