It looks like Harrison Ford isn't the only person that could take issue with Alec Baldwin's new memoir, 'Nevertheless'

Dana Brunetti, the producer behind Fifty Shades of Grey, told The Hollywood Reporter that Baldwin is lying in his book about claims that the producer misled him over how old his co-star and on screen lover Nikki Reed was when filming the movie, Mini's First Time.

The two actors engaged in sex scenes for the film and Baldwin made the claim in his book that he was livid when he learned that Reed was underage.

“I was forty-seven, and it never occurred to me to ask how old Nikki Reed was. When I found out, just as we finished, that she was seventeen, I flipped out on the producers, who had told me something different,” Baldwin writes.

Brunetti, who produced the film with Kevin Spacey and Evan Astrowsky, said that not only did Baldwin know of Reed's age (she was actually sixteen during filming), but also that the producers never misled him and that there was no incident in which Baldwin berated the producers.

"It's a lie," Brunetti said. "I read it and was like, 'What the f—. Of course he totally knew how old she was. That’s why there’s no nudity in the movie. He knew before we even cast the movie. I think he’s been method acting Trump too much and he doesn’t know the difference between fake news anymore."

The writer and director of the film, Nick Guthe, also threw water on Baldwin's claims.

"We all knew she was 16. When we discussed it at first, it was a question of meeting with her and making sure she was mature enough to handle the role," Guthe said. "On the set, Nikki, being 16, would often speak quickly the way teenagers do, and Alec asked me about that at times because he had trouble understanding her, and I would remind him, ‘She’s 16.’”

Guthe also said he was surprised that the book wasn't fact checked by the publishers as not only did they get Reed's age wrong. they also got Baldwin's age at the time wrong. Baldwin was in fact 46 when the movie was filmed, not 47.

After the release of Brunetti's comments on The Hollywood Reporter, Baldwin and Brunetti have been engaging on a quite a heated Twitter spat.

The back and forth between the pair raged on for a while longer before Brunetti called Baldwin out in a separate tweet.

It looked like Baldwin had the final word but Brunetti still had one card up his sleeve.

We doubt we've heard the last of this.
