Yo-ho-ho, it's a reboot for Margot Robbie.

Although there's another spin-off / reboot of 'Pirates of the Caribbean' underway, it's now a case of seeing which makes it to the screen first - Margot Robbie's female version, or the one that may / may not have Johnny Depp back as Jack Sparrow.

Either way, there's a whole lot of crossbones, sea shanties, and cutlasses on the way as THR reports that another movie based on the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' franchise is about to set sail. Nautical references! While the details have been buried in the briny deep, the movie will see Robbie as skipper / star, with 'Birds of Prey' scribe Christina Hodson as bos'n's mate / screenwriter.

More nautical references! Another reboot is underway, flying under the flag of 'Chernobyl' creator Craig Mazin and original screenwriter Ted Elliot. However, it's not yet known if Captain Jack Sparrow will be returning to the crew, seeing as how his career's fortunes have been plundered by numerous controversies.

No doubt that one of these movies will likely end up walking the plank, but the question remains as to which one?
