Justice for, erm, 'Justice League!'

The 2017 superhero epic 'Justice League' was ill-fated. After becoming one of the most expensive movies ever made with a $300 million budget, it flopped and had the lowest box office run of any Warner Bros/DC movie.

Fans of the franchise will undoubtedly recall that director Zack Snyder had to step down as director after the tragic death of his daughter. Joss Whedon completed post-production and directed some extra scenes that he wrote.

Following the release of the feature, fans began campaigning for Warner Bros. to release Zack Snyder's cut of the movie with nearly 180,000 fans petitioning for the cause.

Mind you, many have speculated whether the cut even exists.

The rumour mill began again last March when Snyder said at a press event: "all I can say is... Sure there's a cut... It's done. I have a cut. I have a bunch of them. So, it's not like... that's up to them [Warner Bros.]."

Now, DC stars and crew members, including Snyder himself, have joined fan demands for the release of the 'Snyder Cut'. Gal Gadot, Ben Affleck, David Ayer and Ray Fisher have all tweeted #releasethesnydercut

The hashtag arrives as the film approaches its second anniversary.
