Lionsgate have announced that it is streaming four of its biggest hit features for free on YouTube over the next four Friday nights.

The movie studio has picked some good'uns too as 'The Hunger Games', 'La La Land', 'John Wick' and Dirty Dancing' are going to the video platform.

"Lionsgate Live! A Night at the Movies" is the name of the event, and it beings with a showing of 'The Hunger Games' at 6 p.m. ET this Friday.

The initiative aims to recreate the communal experience of watching filums in movie theatres. It recalls the AFI Movie Club initiative with Steven Spielberg.

Jamie Lee Curtis is hosting "Lionsgate Live!". The 'Halloween' actress will share her own movie memories for the show. Various celebrities and YouTube personalities will join her during it.

The event will be live-streamed on Liongate's YouTube page.

It's also a charity incentive as Lionsgate will make a donation to the Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation.

Viewers are encouraged to make donations to the foundation too.

'Dirty Dancing' will screen on April 24th, followed by 'La La Land' on May 1st.

'John Wick' marks the "shoot em up" finale on May 8th (these screenings will require age registration).
