Fans of Flight of the Conchords will be aware that the New Zealand band haven't played live in several years - largely because since Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie were off being movie stars and Oscar-winning composers and whatnot.
However, the comedy duo have just announced that they are to reunite for the first time since 2013 to play the Newport Folk Festival in Rhode Island, US.
It’s true! We’ll see you @newportfolkfest this summer!! https://t.co/N9oDwoLT7H pic.twitter.com/s0209cqaix

Clement told Indiewire last year that a Flight of the Conchords movie is also in the works and that they were planning a tour in 2016, so let's hope that this is the beginning of a lasting reunion.
They last played Ireland in 2010, when they sold out two nights at Dublin's Olympia Theatre.
