RTE have gone and revealed fifteen years worth of TV stats today and it makes for interesting reading, especially for the national broadcaster as they comprise the entire list. We're all mad for a bit of RTE clearly.

It's no surprise really that The Late Late Toy Show takes up the top six spots, with last year's show at number one with an average audience of 1,594,000. The most watched TV show of the century - quite the feat for Tubbers, and Billy Barry kids everywhere obviously.

The Late Late Show itself appears frequently on the list, while Gay Byrne's version of Who Wants to be a Millionaire also does well, coming in at number seven after all the Toy Shows, and many times again as you read down.

We are a nation of sport lovers too with Euro qualifiers, All Ireland finals and of course that infamous World Cup qualifier against France back in 2009 all in the top fifty.

Love/Hate of course also gets a look in, coming in initially at number 14, with the most watched episode of the entire series falling on November 9th of last year for the season five finale.
