After months - nay, years - of speculation, HBO series 'Deadwood' is set to make a comeback in movie-form after the network confirmed that they are moving forward with it.
The acclaimed Western series, which starred the likes of Timothy Olyphant, Ian McShane and John Hawkes, ran from 2004 - 2006 and spanned three series - but ever since it ended, fans have been chomping at the bit for more.
The TV movie was announced by HBO's Casey Bloys yesterday, who said: "All of these people worked hard to get this together. It’s been a logistics nightmare getting all the cast members’ schedules together, but we are there. It is greenlit.”
It's set to start shooting in October with a tentative air date scheduled for spring 2019.
