Timothy Olyphant has signed up for a remake of the George A Romero horror, The Crazies. The brilliant actor was last seen in the not-so-brilliant Hitman, and has not been on our screens for a while since; which frankly is a damn shame because we really like him as a leading man. The remake is being directed by Sahara helmer Breck Eisner (whose auld lad, Michael Eisner ran Disney for years) and centres on what happens to the inhabitants of a small town when something dodgy in put in the water (no, not like a floater); they go, eh, crazy. Olyphant will play the town's sheriff, who's tasked with finding out what the hell is going on.
