'Ireland's Got Talent' looks like it has a favourite to win already.
It's early days yet, but don't be in the least bit surprised if Sharyn Ward wins this year's 'Ireland's Got Talent' off this one performance.
Sharyn Ward, who introduced herself as proud Traveller from Longford, had two songs in her repertoire - one being Ben E. King's 'Stand By Me', whilst the other was Finbar Furey's 'Sweet Sixteen'. While the first went over well enough with the judges, it was Louis Walsh who clocked that she probably should have led with an Irish song instead.
Sure enough, Ward launches into 'Sweet Sixteen' and blows everyone away. You can see just about everyone getting a bit weepy from it, including Lucy Kennedy and even 'Love/Hate' star John Connors in the audience as well.
Take a look.
