They may have lost one lad last week, but it seems as though they won't we waiting too long to fill the void, because another new gent is joining the cast of Lena Dunham's Girls.
Yup, British actor Richard E. Grant is following in the footsteps of our own Chris O'Dowd, and seems rather excited about it. "Getting cast in @girlsHBO by young Lena D,LegendInTheMaking,is about as kick-arse,swivel & yodel from the Alp tops,as it's possible to get!" he tweeted, revealing the first news of his casting online, as they tend to do now. On a side note, challenge for the day: Get swivel and yodel from the Alp tops into a sentence.
Anyway, as per The Hollywood Reporter. the Withnail And I star will appear as a character by the name of Jasper in the season opener. We're still not sure who Jasper is, or what he does, but we have to say we're rather curious. At least it would appear that he likes Lena Dunham, unlike poor old Christopher Abbott, who can't stand her, apparently.
Season 3 of the hit HBO drama is currently in pre-production, with an air date yet to be confirmed, but of course, as soon as we know when it's coming back, you will too.
