Seems like just about everyone in Hollywood wants in on TV right now. The latest big name to throw his oar in is Men in Black director Barry Sonnenfeld. He's just signed up to film the Beverly Hills Cop TV pilot.
We told you a few months back that this little number was in the works, with Eddie Murphy in talks to come back for the odd cameo. Since then Kevin Pollak has signed up for a starring role alongside Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief star Brandon T Jackson, who'll portray Axel Foley's son, Aaron.
The show's executive producer Shawn Ryan (and himself a former member of the team behind The Shield don'cha know) announced that Sonnenfeld had been hired via Twitter. They all seem to be doing that these days, don't they?
Wonder if Sonnenfeld could bring the likes of Will Smith on board? I mean Mandy Moore, Seth Rogen, Tate Donovan, Michael Pena and Minnie Driver have all been tempted to slip back to the small screen this week already...
