And there you have it, folks.
"I would proudly say I banged Schwimmer if that happened. But no."
Jennifer Aniston has - excuse the pun - put to bed those rumours about her and her 'Friends' co-star David Schwimmer being romantically involved at one point in their lives.
Alluded to on the recent 'Friends' reunion, both actors admitted that, similar to their on-screen counterparts Rachel and Ross, they each had a crush on the other. However, the timing was always off.
David said during the reunion special: "At some point, we were both crushing hard on each other, but it was like two ships passing because one of us was always in a relationship and we never crossed that boundary. We respected that." Matt LeBlanc hilariously coughs "bullsh*t" after this.
While speaking to Howard Stern on his radio show this week, Jennifer elaborated: "We were in relationships, it was always never the right time. And it wouldn’t have worked.
"The beauty of that was that whatever feelings we had we just literally channelled everything into Ross and Rachel, and I think that’s maybe why it resonated the way it did. But no, we never, on my life — and Courteney and Lisa would know if it did because they would’ve heard about it. They can vouch for me.
"I would proudly say I banged Schwimmer if that happened. But no."
Jennifer also spoke about taking part in the 'Fast Times at Ridgemont High' virtual table read last year, opposite her ex-husband Brad Pitt. She said that she and Brad "are buddies" with "no oddness at all" between them.
Finally, the actor spoke about one guest star on 'Friends' who behaved as if they were "just too 'above’" appearing on the sitcom. She didn't mention any names, but she did reveal that it was a male actor, who has since apologised.
She said: "I remember when we were doing a network run-through, the network and the producers would just laugh. And this person would be like, 'Listen to them, just laughing at their own jokes. So stupid, not even funny.' It was just like, 'What are you doing here?'
"This is a wonderful, warm place to be, and you’re coming into our home and just shit on it. The funny thing is, that male did apologise about their behaviour years later, and just said, 'I was so nervous, to be honest, that I wasn’t on my best behaviour'."
Who do you think THAT could have been...? Jennifer Aniston will be on our screens this September, reprising her role as Alex Levy in 'The Morning Show' season two on Apple TV+.
