'I'm A Celebrity: Extra Camp' host Joel Dommett missed last night's show as he found himself rushed to the hospital after he was hit on the head by a show sign during rehearsals. It was down to windy conditions in the jungle which led to props being blown around.
A source told The Mirror that Joel, 32, was hit by the sign "with some force" and "he needed seven stitches and has been given the day off to recover."
While Joel said: "Unfortunately due to unforeseen windy circumstances blowing the set onto my head during rehearsals, i won’t be able to present Extra Camp this evening."
"I had seven stitches like a big brave boy and I’ll be back tomorrow.
"To be honest I’m less worried about my health and more worried that the show will be better without me.
"Half a day off school to go home and watch neighbours! Woo!"
No doubt Joel will be back in action tonight in time for 'Extra Camp' which airs on Virgin Media Three at 10pm (after the main show at 9pm on Virgin Media One.)
