Just in time for Valentine's Day
A brand new one-off dating show about the lives of two people looking for love, just as the title suggests, from different generations.
Love is in the air, and just in time for Valentine's Day. 'Generation Dating' will pair up 23-year-old DCU student Declan with 71-year-old MJ, in the hopes that both generations with enlighten the other with plenty of wisdom and dating knowledge.
Living in a world completely oblivious to the words swiping, ghosting, and catfishing, will Declan be able to pass on valuable knowledge to MJ? And will the 71-year-old's old school methods open up the young student's wandering eyes?
MJ, who has recently returned to Ireland from America, is feisty and full of beans and would like nothing more than to meet someone to share the rest of her life with. She has an incredible life story to share, and is hoping to get a lowdown on the latest tips and tricks when it comes to putting herself out there again.
Declan meanwhile has no trouble playing the field - but he struggles to keep a worthwhile relationship. He says he would love to meet the right girl, but can never seem to find her.
Although awkward at first, the two dating hopefuls form an unlikely new friendship. However, the deal is this - both have to try and find a match for the other. So, will either of them be successful in their hunt?
Here's some of the action we can expect from tonight's show.
