Were they deleted for good reason?
'Game of Thrones' has come and gone and while season 8 wasn't its swansong, the show was pretty great at its peak.
We picked 'Game of Thrones' as one of our best shows of the 2010s because disappointing as that last season was, it remains a beacon of TV entertainment of the last ten years.
The deleted and extended scenes - though no sign of a blooper reel yet, darnit! - of season 8 are now available.
The final season is due for home release on DVD, Blu-ray, 4K Ultra HD and all that other stuff soon. It'll include The Last Watch documentary on the making of season 8, audio commentaries, making-of featurettes and more.
The deleted scenes come from across five of the six episodes of the final season. They include more Daenerys and Jon Snow cooing over one another, additional footage of Sir Davos, and scenes from the Battle of Winterfell and its aftermath.
There's also a great line from Tormund about vomiting that we really wish they'd kept in.
'Game of Thrones' wrapped up its eight-season run last May.
