The annual beauty pageant kicked off in the Co. Kerry town last night, and people had plenty to say...
It's back to school time this week, but it's also Rose of Tralee time, too.
The first night of the annual Rose of Tralee Lovely Girls competition kicked off last night at the Rose Dome in the Co. Kerry town.
As usual, there was an array of fun, frolics and sarcastic comments on Twitter from people who rip the almighty p*ss out of the beauty pageant but also spend their evening watching it (because RTÉ and Dáithí Ó Sé are the real winners here, let's be honest).
See below for a selection of the best/funniest comments from the tweet machine...
Just once I wish a Rose would be like, 'Sorry I'm hoarse, I smoked thirty purple Silk Cuts last night.' #RoseofTralee
