The 'Friends' reunion will premiere this month
There are few TV reunions that have been anticipated as this one. For months now, its six lead cast members have been teasing its arrival. Now we have an official premiere date. Plus a first look teaser.
The 'Friends' reunion is set to air on HBO Max on May 27th.
The date also marks the one year anniversary of the launch of WarnerMedia's streaming platform.
We've also learned of a number of special guests who will appear on the TV special.
The A-listers who will be popping into the show include: David Beckham, Justin Bieber, BTS, James Corden, Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne, Lady Gaga, Elliott Gould, Kit Harington, Larry Hankin, Mindy Kaling, Thomas Lennon, Christina Pickles, Tom Selleck, James Michael Tyler, Maggie Wheeler, Reese Witherspoon and Malala Yousafza.
Then of course there will be the 'Friends' themselves - Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer.
They return to the sitcoms original soundstage, Stage 24, on the Warner Bros. Studio lot in Burbank for an unscripted celebration of the show.
Ben Winston directed the 'Friends' reunion and executive produced along with the original show's executive producers Kevin Bright, Marta Kauffman and David Crane.
