"Don't blink"
There was a *blink* and you'll miss it cameo from Rob McElhenney on 'Game of Thrones' last night.
Rob McElhenney, who plays Mac in 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' made a surprise cameo on last night's season eight premiere of 'Game of Thrones'. He appeared during the scene when Theon Greyjoy rescues his sister Yara from their dastardly uncle Euron and the Golden Company.
One eagle-eyed viewer tweeted the question to the world, asking "Is that... Rob McElhenney?"

And yes, it was. Let's be honest - we wouldn't expect Mac to feature more gruesomely if he tried.
Both fans of 'It's Always Sunny' and of course 'GOT' loved his cameo appearance.

'Game of Thrones' showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have previously worked with McElhenney on 'It's Always Sunny', writing season nine's episode 'Flowers for Charlie'. They also payed McElhenney back in cameo form, since they both also appeared in season 12, as a pair of bored lifeguards.
