"We look ridiculous together"
Imagine turing up to a late night chat show in the States and wearing a very similar outfit to your fellow guest... Luckily, the colour pink looks rather dashing on them both.
Aisling Bea and Nicholas Hoult both appeared on 'The Late Late Show with James Corden' last night, and shared a giggle when they both sat on the sofa wearing similar-coloured outfits.
While Bea went for a checkered pattern, Hoult wore a plain number and at the top of the interview shared a moment about the situation, with Bea remarking: "We look ridiculous together."
The Kildare comic also recounted the time when she worked as an elf ("big shoutout to any elves watching") in Santa's Kingdom while in college, having to deal with all of the bratty children who entered every few minutes.
Explaining a rather unfortunate story that happened one day, Bea admits that she might have made it all happen because of her "Christmas wish".
Bea made a rather hilarious introduction of herself on last night's show too, giving another shoutout - this time to her new dentist.
Aisling Bea and Nicholas Hoult appeared on the chat show to promote their latest TV and movie creations, both of which have quite big fanbases.
Bea stars in Disney+'s rehash of 'Home Alone', with the 2021 take on the beloved Christmas franchise called 'Home Sweet Home Alone'. Earlier this year she also returned with Sharon Horgan for the second season of 'This Way Up' on Channel 4 and Hulu.
Hoult is back on our screens as Peter III in Hulu's almost entirely fabricated 'The Great', which is framed around Catherine II's (Elle Fanning) eventual rise to power in Russia. The series is already streaming in the US, but no release date has been set for Ireland yet; the first season aired on Channel 4.
Just last week while appearing on 'Late Night with Seth Myers', Aisling Bea introduced the world to the wonders of Irish children's TV back in the '90s.
