"I question producers who made them 'just to shed light'"
Sam Asghari, the fiance of Britney Spears, is having his say on the recent docs about his wife-to-be's conservatorship.
Britney Spears and Sam Asghari announced their engagement two weeks ago.
Sam is an actor and personal trainer. He and Britney met on the set of her music video for "Slumber Party" and had been dating since October 2016.
Britney has been the frequent subject of recent media headlines as fans follow the ongoing developments in her conservatorship case.
Britney's lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, has filed legal documents declaring his intention to make a case for ending the conservatorship entirely.
Her father Jamie Spears' attorney Vivian Thoreen has also filed docs to end the conservatorship.
Britney Spears' legal battle has been the subject of a number of documentaries of late.
'Framing Britney Spears' debuted earlier this year and a follow-up doc, 'Controlling Britney Spears', also recently aired.
Netflix also has a documentary about the singer's conservatorship - titled 'Britney VS Spears' - which streams on the service from Tuesday.
Sam Asghari did not hold back on what he thinks about these docs.
Writing on Instagram stories, he said: "Apparently my opinion has increased in value over [the] last few days.
"Past docs left bad aftertaste. I'm hopeful this one will be respectful.
"I don’t blame CNN, BBC or Netflix (which got me thru lockdowns) for airing them because as an actor I tell other peoples stories too.
"I question producers who made them 'just to shed light' without input or approval from subject.
"Any credit for light being she should go to #freebritney."
