What a nice... surprise?

Time and time again, that overwhelming need for a lovely, relaxing, professional massage enters our heads. Imagine your surprise when you turn around after said massage, and saw your colleague was the one who gave it to you...

Because that is exactly what happened to poor auld Seth Rogen. According to the actor and movie/TV show creator, Paul Rudd crashed his relaxing session with a masseuse, gifting him his own special massaging experience - all without him noticing. Perhaps Rudd's time on 'Friends' saw him pick up a thing or two from Lisa Kudrow's Phoebe Buffay?

The two actors have famously worked together on a number of projects over the years, including 'Knocked Up' and 'This Is The End', so Rudd's prank is pretty in line with the type of comedy the two actors have delivered on our screens in the past. According to the story from Rogen, he didn't even notice that the massage was from his colleague until he turned over at the very end.

Rogen tweeted the story on social media, explaining: "Once I was in the spa in a hotel in Vegas getting a massage. When I finished I turned over and to my shock Paul Rudd was massaging me. He saw me go in and convinced the masseuse to let him take over, thinking I’d notice immediately. I didn’t, and Paul did the entire rest of it."

Unfortunately, Paul Rudd doesn't have any social media presence currently, so Seth Rogen's story hasn't yet been confirmed by the actor - but it's just crazy enough to be very believable. When asked by a Twitter user, "Are we sure this wasn't a weed induced hallucination Seth?", the storyteller responded with, "I'm sure Paul would confirm it".

And there you have it, a brilliant little anecdote from two of Hollywood's favourite personalities.

Next up for Paul Rudd, he'll star in the 'Ghostbusters: Afterlife' sequel, arriving later this year; Seth Rogen, meanwhile, will appear in the upcoming drama series 'Pam & Tommy', set for release in 2022.
