Sheeran caught up with the 'Game of Thrones' star when he played Iceland
Ed Sheeran's cameo on Season 7 of 'Game of Thrones' drew a lot of criticism from the public - but it seems that he still is on good terms with his former co-stars, at least.
The pop star caught up with one of them recently, and perhaps got a little more than he bargained for in the process.
Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, who played The Mountain on the show, is an Icelandic professional strongman. When Sheeran played Reykjavik earlier this week, they met up - and the singer suddenly found himself seven feet or so in the air.
Björnsson, who is 6ft 9in and weighs between 180 and 200kg, posted a video of their encounter on his Instagram with the caption: "He asked for it. Luckily I didn’t drop him... He has to work tonight!! ? @teddysphotos"
It looks like this may well be The Mountain's party trick, as another co-star Nathalie Emmanuel - who played Missande on the show - said "You did this to me at that wrap party in Spain remember? LOL."
Not our idea of a good time, but each to their own.
