To celebrate the completion of shooting on the last season of ‘Game of Thrones’, Maisie Williams has gotten the perfect tattoo to commemorate the once-in-a-lifetime experience it was.
Shooting on the series was completed earlier this month, with Williams already posting a goodbye to the show via her Instagram – as her co-star, Emilia Clarke, had previously done.
Williams has also followed her IRL best friend and on-screen sister Sophie Turner’s move of getting a tattoo to mark the end of her time on the show.
Turner had to explain on James Corden’s late night talk show that the words of the tattoo – ‘The pack survives’ – are not a spoiler for the ‘Game of Thrones’ finale.
Maisie Williams’ tat would also appear to not be a spoiler but rather a tribute to her character, as she’ll have the words 'No One' — the way she learned to describe herself during her training in the House of Black and White – inscribed on her person.
Set photos from the shoot that leaked in June give you an idea of just how gargantuan this final season is going to be.
Even though ‘Game of Thrones’ is coming to an end, at least we have the prequel series to look forward to, which commences filming before the end of the year.
