He makes a very valid point

Netflix recently pulled an episode of 'Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj' from its streaming service in Saudi Arabia. They requested that the episode be removed, due to its violation of the kingdom's cyber crimes law.

The episode in question sees comedian Hasan Minhaj discuss the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi in October of last year.

Minhaj goes on to say that as a Muslim, he believes Saudi Arabia "does not represent our values." He also adds that the United States should "reassess [its] relationship with Saudi Arabia."

The comic also lays into the fact that many of Silicon Valley's companies have Saudi investors. He quipped, "Tech companies are swimming in more Saudi cash than a Bugatti dealership in Beverly Hills."

Although Netflix payed heed to Saudi Arabia's request and pulled the episode, the episode is still available to stream on Netflix in many other countries, and also Saudi Arabian YouTube.

Minhaj has responded to the consequence on Twitter; he also urged his followers to donate to the crisis that is currently happening in Yemen. The comic said, "Clearly, the best way to stop people from watching something is to ban it, make it trend online, and then leave it up on YouTube.

"Let’s not forget that the world’s largest humanitarian crisis is happening in Yemen right now. Please donate."

Here's the trailer for 'Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj,' which is available to stream on Irish Netflix right now.
