And there's a new trailer to go along with the announcement
Omar Sy returns to our screens in exactly one month's time.
Whatever your inclination, you have to credit Netflix for creating two stellar series based in France. Sure, 'Emily in Paris' was embroiled in backlash, but it made for easy-breezy viewing (and there's another season on the way). 'Lupin' on the other hand, is the polar opposite in terms of plot, tone and French etiquette, but it's also a damn fine crime/thriller and one we're very excited to see on the return.
Arriving on Netflix next month, part two of the series will see Omar Sy back in the driving seat as the expert thief out for vengeance. Part one of the series landed on Netflix in January, consisting of five episodes, and quickly became one of the most-watched shows on the streaming service this year.
Luckily, the following five episodes were already filmed at the tail end of 2020, meaning that we haven't had to wait very long for our next 'Lupin' fix.
Here's the brand new trailer for the return of 'Lupin' in a month's time.
With a current 98% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, 'Lupin' part two arrives on Netflix on Sunday, June 11.
