The former reality TV show host did not pardon his fellow reality TV star before leaving office.
Now that Donald Trump's reign of error is officially over, we can all stop wondering whether or not he was going to use his final hours as the leader of the free world to pardon a fellow reality TV star.
Joe Exotic - real name Joseph Maldonado-Passage - was not pardoned by Donald Trump in the final hours of his presidency as some - including Joe Exotic himself - believed. Instead, Trump decided to pardon Lil Wayne and Kodak Black, along with Steve Bannon (who was facing fraud charges over a 'Build The Wall' donor campaign), and a bunch of white-collar criminals who were charged on fraud, bribery, and money laundering offences.
Trump's people, basically.
Anyway, in a tweet sent from Joe Exotic's account and presumably dictated by him and sent to someone on the outside, Exotic blasted both Trump and his younger namesake for using him to boost their own social media profile. "I only mattered to Don Jr. when he needed to make a comment about me to boost his social media post," Exotic added.
I was too innocent and too GAY to deserve a Pardon from Trump. I only mattered to Don Jr. when he needed to make a comment about me to boost his social media post. Boy were we all stupid to believe he actually stood for Equal Justice? His corrupt friends all come first. pic.twitter.com/ysGfwnqlHi

Exotic is currently facing down 22 years in prison for hiring an undercover FBI agent to murder Carole Baskin, his arch-nemesis, as well as multiple counts relating to his running of the GW Zoo and the mistreatment of animals there.
A group supporting Joe Exotic's pardon had charted a limousine pickup truck to collect the reality TV star from prison yesterday evening, but the outsized vehicle left the prison parking lot empty as Trump departed the White House without pardoning Joe Exotic.
