Say "oui to me"

Netflix's second series following the misadventures of an American in Paris will be back in time for Christmas.

Mais oui, the problematic Emily is back on the scene. Netflix has debuted our first look at 'Emily in Paris' season two, and things are about to get complicated.

Starring Lily Collins, the first series introduced us to a marketing assistant from Chicago who moved to the Paris branch of her marketing firm in order to make them become more "current". In other words, more American.

As you will see in the trailer below, Emily (Collins) has now grasped the French lifestyle a little bit better after her very rocky start last year. Now more entrenched in her life in Paris, Emily’s getting better at navigating the city but there's a slight hitch in her progression - Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) has decided to stay in the city of love.

After stumbling into a love triangle with him last season, she has since become good friends with his ex Camille (Camille Razat), making things worse. In other news, there's another love interest on the scenes, as she encounters a fellow US expat in her French class, Alfie (Lucien Laviscount).

Season one of the Netflix creation was a runaway success. Although it was hounded by French critics, the fish out of water series was one of Netflix's top performers last year and even earned itself two Emmy and two Golden Globe nominations.

The official tagline of 'Emily in Paris' season two is: More fun. More fashion. More faux pas. As Emily finds her footing in Paris, the fallout from a night of passion could send her stumbling into trouble.

Here's the trailer.

'Emily in Paris season two hits Netflix on December 22.
