The star-studded trailer offers a glimpse into her new film, which premieres later this month
It's been almost a full year since the release of the live-action version of 'The Lion King', and Beyonce has something very special in the works to celebrate.
'Black is King' is the new film/visual album by the pop icon, which will incorporate music from her accompanying album 'The Lion King: The Gift', which was released in conjunction with the film last year.
According to the press release, "the film reimagines the lessons from the 2019 blockbuster for today’s young kings and queens in search of their own crowns."
The film was shot in LA, New York, London, South Africa, Western Africa and Belgium and will premiere on Disney Plus on July 31st.
'Black Is King' includes full-length videos for the songs 'Already', 'Brown Skin Girl', 'Mood 4 Eva' and 'My Power', which is heard in the new trailer.
The trailer, meanwhile, features everyone from Jay-Z to her mum Tina, as well as Naomi Campbell and her former Destiny's Child bandmate Kelly Rowland. Pharrell Williams and Lupita Nyong'o will also feature.
