The thrash metal icons arrive at Slane Castle on June 8th.
The stage times for Metallica's concert at Slane Castle have been announced.
Per the official release from MCD, the gates open at 2PM on June 8th with no queue expected before then. As with most concerts, bag searches will be carried out and public transport is advised to get there in time.
Fangclub are the first act up at 3PM, with Bokassa taking the next slot at 4PM. Punk legends Stiff Little Fingers will take to the stage at 5.15PM and will then be followed by Ghost, who will kick off at 6.45PM. Metallica's show is expected to begin at 8PM with a hard curfew of 11PM imposed on the concert.

As always, no alcohol is allowed to be brought in and there will be limited ATM facilities on site. The usual list of items - air horns, camping equipment, cameras with a detachable lens, tridents (yes, that was actually on the list) and lightsabers (again, actually on the list) - are not prohibited on site and will be taken off you when you rock up to the ticket gate.
