It was officially announced this morning (following reports last week) that Metallica will rock Slane Castle in 2019 with a date confirmed for Saturday, 8th June 2019.

This will mark Metallica's first Irish show in over a decade.

Tickets, from €89.50, will be released from usual outlets this coming Friday, 28th September at 10am.

Metallica will join the long list of other legends who have played Slane in the past, such as Thin Lizzy, U2, and Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
