The Rolling Stones have shelved the remaining 14 dates of their Australian and New Zealand tour following the death of Mick Jaggers girlfriend, fashion designer L'Wren Scott.
The band intends to reschedule the dates, as per reports online, but there has been no official indication of exactly when this may happen.
A statement released by a spokesperson for the band earlier this week said that all the members of the group "wish to thank all of their fans for their support at this difficult time and hope that they will fully understand the reason for this announcement."
Ms. Scott, who had been romantically linked to Jagger since 2001, was found dead of an apparent suicide on St. Patrick's day in Manhattan.
Mick Jagger has commented on the incident on Facebook, saying: "I am still struggling to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way. We spent many wonderful years together and had made a great life for ourselves... She had great presence and her talent was much admired, not least by me... I have been touched by the tributes that people have paid to her, and also the personal messages of support that I have received. I will never forget her."
The shelved Rolling Stontes tour dates are:
Perth, Arena (March 19)
Adelaide, Oval (22)
Sydney, Allphones Arena (25)
Melbourne, Rod Laver Arena (28)
Hanging Rock, Macedon Ranges (30)
Brisbane, Entertainment Centre (April 2)
Auckland, Mt Smart Stadium (5)
