Her ninth album looks to be done and dusted - but there's no release date as yet
It's been almost four years since we last had a new Rihanna album, and the pop star knows full well that we're champing at the bit for new material.
Her ninth studio album - and the follow-up to 2016's 'Anti' - has been in the works as far back as 2016. There have been plenty of rumours about its release in recent years. In 2017, Shakira revealed that she'd collaborated with the Bajan star on the project, and earlier this year Rihanna herself revealed that it is a reggae album.
Although she said in 2018 that it would be released this year, it's looking like a 2020 release now - unless she has a major Christmas surprise in store for fans.
In any case, it looks like the album is done, if her latest Instagram post is anything to go by.
Now, that's just mean, RiRi.
