With Billy Corgan recently revealing that he was back in the studio with two members of Smashing Pumpkins' 'classic' line-up, fans were left wondering whether the bassist from the same era would be partaking in the new album.

However, a leaked picture has confirmed that D'arcy Wretzy will not be joining Corgan, James Iha and Jimmy Chamberlin this time around.

Instead, guitarist Jeff Schroeder - who has played with Corgan in the band in more recent years - will complete the line-up.

Wretzky had previously told Blast Echo that she was 'hugely disappointed' not to be joining the reunion.

The four-piece were spotted taking part in a photoshoot ahead of the release/recording of their Rick Rubin-produced album.
