The 'Normal People' star has also been hanging out with Dermot Kennedy ahead of their collaboration

Paul Mescal has already proven his musical chops, as we saw during the Comic Relief special.

On that sketch, he beautifully crooned Tracy Chapman's 'Baby Can I Hold You' with his 'Normal People' co-star Daisy Edgar-Jones and Fleabag's Andrew Scott. He's also chatted about music on Twitter in recent times, noting that he was a big fan of Phoebe Bridgers (and later, conducting an Instagram Live interview with her.)

His latest music-related endeavour is something a bit closer to home, however.

Mescal's sister Nell is also a musician, so he joined her at the piano as the pair duetted on the Villagers song 'Nothing Arrived', taken from their 2013 album 'Awayland'.

The stripped-back piano version is really quite lovely, and even Conor O'Brien thought so:

Mescal has also been hanging out with Dermot Kennedy ahead of their collaboration at Kennedy's forthcoming London gig, which will be livestreamed on July 30th. Kennedy posted a picture of the pair walking along the canal to his Instagram yesterday as a teaser...
