It's time to get those baubles out
She's been waiting it out in her cave for the past 10 months, ready to pounce on the season as soon as that clock strikes midnight on October 31.
We hope you're ready for it because Mariah Carey season has officially begun.
The 'All I Want For Christmas' crooner has once again reminded us all of the season that is on the way with another elaborate video showcasing her arrival as the unofficial Queen of Christmas.
With only 54 days until the big day arrives, Carey's 2021 video sees her smashing pumpkins with a red and white candy cane baseball bat before embracing the season of goodwill and blowing a kiss to her legion of Lambs.
Before the video ends, the video is captioned with: "It's time!!
"To smash that pumpkin and treat it as pie... cause we still gotta get through Thanksgiving!!!"
During the 30 second Mariah Carey season video, there was also a brief Easter Egg which didn't go unnoticed by her followers. The date of November 5 appears on a wrapped present during the video, which has sparked a frenzy of anticipation.
Carey responded to a fan who asked what will be happening on November 5, and she responded with: "Come back tomorrow, same time and I'll tell you [three winky-face emojis]."
So, will Mariah Carey be releasing new music this year for the season? We'll have to wait until later today to find out more. We'll be sure to update this article as soon as we hear more about this mysterious tease.
Last year, Carey re-released 'Oh Santa!' featuring Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson. The single was part of her own Apple TV+ Christmas special.
